Introduction

The Comparative Hematology and Hemostasis Laboratory at the Ontario Veterinary College aims to advance knowledge of blood disorders and improve health in all species.

We provide expertise in:

• Pathophysiology and diagnosis of thrombotic and bleeding disorders
• Monitoring anti-platelet and anti-coagulant medications
• Investigation of novel hemostatic tests in a variety of species
• Clinical trials studying the optimal treatment of patients with prothrombotic and immune-mediated blood disorders
